Hello! Welcome to MyAuntCameBack.Com! The name derived from a silly folklore song that I used to sing as a child at summer camp in the hills of Santa Cruz, California. The lyrics bring the minds of children through a fantastic traveling journey to places throughout the world by a beloved Aunt and all of the wonderful gifts she brought back to share. Here, you will find us similar to that Aunt, only bringing Real Treasures to you from faraway!
Just as you my have experienced at one of our many private or public showings in person, you will find the same appreciation and helpfulness extended to you, here online. From the moment we laid eyes upon these beautiful European arts, Lithuanian Candle Houses and Polish Pottery, we were mesmerized and so, understand your endeavor to create your own collection. To date, we are still building ours and enjoying every minute of it. We share your appreciation for these unique works of art.
Visits to Boleslawiec, Poland for Polish Pottery and other regions of Europe like Lithuania for the Candle Houses of Courage, have only furthered our love and adoration for the artisans and their crafts. These long and tiring trips to Europe have proved to bring us great joy as we educated ourselves on each factory, their stoneware, the history of their crafts and the history of the artisans themselves. We have learned which companies triumph above the rest in quality and durability. Know that our decisions in our selections are for not only ourselves and our families, but for YOU as well. If it is not a piece that we would use ourselves, it is passed by. We continue to carry on our legacy of excellence and use the wisdom we have been blessed with to extend our offerings to you, just as if you were our very family.
